Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew Adr gndlsmn) is an Israeli beauty pageant titleholder as well as a model. Adar was Miss Israel's first runner-up, receiving the title of Miss Universe Israel. She also participated in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar was a competitor at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. She did not finish in the top ten. At the pageant, Gandelsman snapped a photo with Sarah Idan, Miss Universe Iraq that year. Idan as well as her family emigrated from Iraq in 2017 following anger from Iraqi citizens. She took a photo with Miss Israel. Gandelsman is a native Ashkelon, Israel. Her parents were Ashkenazi Jews who arrived in Israel in 1992, originating from Brazil.
