Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is the American artist, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. He also signed a record deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his debut album on the studio was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's hit single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to release three singles at the top spot in less than one year in 2020.
