Abigale Miller bio
Abigale Lee Miller(born on 21st September, 1965) is an American choreographer, dance instructor and reality television host. She is the founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company, that was a part of the reality series Dance Moms for eight seasons. Miller admitted guilt on June 27th, 2016 to fraudulent bankruptcy in the felony category. Miller was sentenced for one and five years in federal prison. She was released on the 27th of March 2018. In April 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma that is a type of cancer that renders it difficult for people to walk. She now uses a wheelchair to get around. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer and trained under her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 years old when she was asked to choreograph and the role of coach on one of her mother’s dancing teams in competition. Miller was given the reins of the company and changed it's name to Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America, and she was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 (February 1986). However, DMA terminated her membership in February 2012 due to the fact that Miller's reality show Dance Moms was a "complete misrepresentation of our teachers and their students" and was detrimental to the profession.
